This study examines the integrated determinants of the Human Development Index (HDI) in six ASEAN countries by incorporating environmental, security, and economic perspectives. Using panel data analysis, the study investigates the effects of natural disasters, terrorism, renewable energy, natural resources, market size, infrastructure, and foreign direct investment (FDI) on HDI. The results reveal that natural disasters and terrorism significantly reduce HDI, whereas renewable energy, natural resources, market size, infrastructure, and FDI positively and significantly enhance human development. These findings suggest that improving HDI requires an integrated policy approach that simultaneously strengthens environmental resilience, security stability, and sustainable economic development. The study contributes to the literature by providing a comprehensive framework for understanding the multidimensional determinants of human development in ASEAN.
