Abstract

Computational thinking is one of the skills of the 21st century that is important to instill from an early age. However, there are still many PAUD teachers who do not understand the concept and implementation of computational thinking properly, especially through an unplugged approach. This Community Service Activity (PKM) aims to improve the understanding and skills of PAUD teachers in implementing computational thinking contextually and in accordance with the characteristics of early childhood. The activity was held at TKQ Al-Mubarokah, Karawang Regency, involving 25 participants from 17 PAUD institutions. The methods used include needs analysis, theory training, direct practice using unplugged media, implementation assistance in the classroom, and evaluation through pre-test and post-test. The results of the activity showed that there was an increase in teachers' understanding of the four components of computational thinking, namely decomposition, pattern recognition, abstraction, and algorithms, as well as teachers' ability to design computational thinking-based play activities in a simple and meaningful way
