Abstract

The purpose of the community service research (PKM) activity is to socialize the excellence of the study program to students of SMA Negeri 5 Tidore Islands City. The method of this research is participatory with a qualitative descriptive approach. The collection technique was through interviews and direct observation at SMA Negeri 5 Tidore Islands City. The results of the study showed that students' understanding of Khairun University information reached an average of 84.5%, indicating the success of socialization in the cognitive aspect. Student interest averaged 70.5%, showing the positive effect of activities in building motivation to continue their studies to college. Thus, socialization activities of study program excellence can arouse enthusiasm and interest in students to continue their education at Khairun University.
